Private Label Service Representatives

We are looking for successful candidates who will enter an extensive and intensive training program designed to teach the proper selection and pricing of risks in accordance with our company objectives, underwriting guidelines and fundamentals in order to achieve an underwriting profit. Training will include instruction on department-wide processes and workflows as well various computer applications supporting our business. Additional training will be provided for effective customer service and telephone etiquette.  Candidates will select and price new business risks in accordance within our company standards and guidelines.  Candidates must understand and be able to articulate company and Team stories to Customers. Previous insurance and/or telemarketing experience preferred

Regional Account Executive
Our Marketing Team is looking for a Regional Account Executive for the Southeast and West. These people would drive new business quote count and premium in the Southeast or West Region via the following:
prospecting for stronger customers when traveling in an effort to appoint better/stronger customers; assure the Rule of 16 plan is followed with all new appointments and expansions; complete ownership and nurturing of all customers in Southeast or West Region; constant action based on review of new business submission activity by customer, state & product; oversight and training of customers’ 50/50 marketing people. Travel expectations is six nights per month.

West Team Leader
We are seeking a Team Leader to manage and direct an underwriting staff, in marketing and underwriting matters, within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will implement the department plan within the team, in the selection and pricing of new and renewal risks. This person will implement, monitor and adjust as necessary a detailed marketing plan. Additionally, the candidate will develop the underwriting staff by establishing, monitoring and adjusting as necessary, an annual training and development plan for each underwriter. The position expects overnight travel as needed to maintain customer visitation schedule. Requirements for the position are as follows: Bachelors Degree or 5+ years prior underwriting experience required; strong oral and written communication skills; strong analytical skills; strong leadership skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

Casualty Claim Unit Leader
Our Claims Team is looking for a Casualty Claim Unit Leader. This person would be responsible for people development, administrative and technical claim leadership, ensuring compliance with company objectives, claim commandments, community goals and statutory regulations. Functions of the job include but are not limited to the following: administrative leadership duties; assigning new claims and provide direction to examiners with respect to coverage, reserving, investigation, claim resolution and litigation management; provide authorization for reserves and settlement, consistent with established authority levels; responds to inquiries from customers, retail agents, attorneys, claimants and policyholders concerning coverage questions, claim handling and claim status.

Litigation Management Specialist

Our Claims Team is looking for a Litigation Management Specialist.  Position entails selection, appointment, evaluation, and oversight of high quality and cost effective defense counsel for all jurisdictions and across multiple practice areas. Evaluation and oversight of counsel is via file and bill audits along with in-person visits as warranted (some overnight travel 1-2 times per month required).  Identify and address areas for improvement or global training needs within claims department with focus on sound litigation management and attorney direction.      
JD, BS, Paralegal, or equivalent industry experience required.  Prior experience in a defense firm is a plus.  Candidate should have excellent verbal, written, conflict management skills, strong analytical skills, organizational and multi-tasking abilities, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, solid computer skills and familiarity of MS Office Products.

Our Claims Team is seeking a Property Claim Examiner. The position includes handling inside property claim files in compliance with the Claim Department. Five to seven years claim
handling experience required as well as state licenses as appropriate, multi-jurisdictional knowledge a plus. CPCU, AEI, RPLU or INS preferred.

Liability - Product leader

Our Professional Lines Team is looking for a Corporate Directors and Officers Liability/Employment Practices Liability - Product leader. This person will lead and grow a profitable book of private company D&O and EPL by constantly seeking new opportunities to enhance our product offering, appetite and marketing capabilities. Be responsible for all aspects of the product, including the policy form/endorsements, applications, rating, underwriting and marketing as well as coordination with other departments such as Claims, IT and Compliance. Candidate should have a college degree, have CPCU, ASLI, RPLU, INS or other insurance related course work as well as have at least 5 years prior D&O/EPL underwriting experience required.

We are seeking an energetic, creative Sales/Telemarketer in our Marketing Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal & communication skills and have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Background in insurance, marketing and/or sales a plus, but not required. Individual must be assertive, persuasive and be able to work with our customers to find sales opportunities via web searches and phone calls to various businesses across the United States. No travel is required. This in an entry-level position.

Underwriting Assistant

Support our underwriters by providing excellent service and technical assistance in the binding and setting up of new and renewal business. Duties include working with customers both directly and indirectly on a daily basis to process customer bind requests, issue policy endorsements, request and review underwriting information. You must have good organizational and communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service and have a keen sense for details. College degree preferred. One to two years insurance experience are a plus. If you are a high energy, enthusiastic person, focus on people, service and teamwork, this is a great starting point in Underwriting.
